Dear Members, The Hampton Hall Swim and Tennis Club Board is committed to regularly reviewing and updating our policies to support a club that serves our members well. As such, in response to member feedback we have made some important policy changes concerning the use of our facilities. We ask that you each review and support these changes -- if you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact me or any of the HHSTC Board Members. Smoking Policy: The Hampton Hall Swim and Tennis facility is a “non-smoking” facility. This means smoking is not allowed anywhere within the pool area or tennis courts. If members must smoke, smoking is only permitted at the foot bridge the crosses the creek -- and please don't leave cigarette butts in the area Guest policy: Our members are entitled to enjoy the Pool and Tennis Courts with “non-member” guests, but repeated use by the same "non-members" is contrary to the spirit of paid memberships. Going forward, non-member guests are permitted to visit the pool and tennis courts up to 2 times during a calendar month. For our summer season, which extends from May to early September, this represents up to 10 potential separate visits. (Non-member guests living outside the Atlanta Metro Area are not subject to this restriction) Overbooking of Tennis Courts: Playing time on our tennis courts is a constrained asset for the club. Unfortunately, some members have been repeatedly filling court reservation times at peak hours. Going forward, no member can reserve the courts during peak hours (from 5pm to 8pm, Monday thru Thursday) more than twice per week. This includes playing in a time slot that another member has reserved (e.g., if you play on a foursome that has reserved court time at peak hours, this will count towards the 2 reservation per week limit.) Members are welcome to "walk on" to the courts as much as they are available -- including during these peak hours, but we ask that each member respect this limit and make the courts available to other members once you have reached your weekly limit. We request that member respect and abide by the above policies. We are counting on members to “self police”, as it is very awkward for other members to address policy issues with one another. Repeated violation of these policies will result in a warning, and if continued, could result in loss of HHSTC membership. Please feel free to reach out to me or other Board member if you would like to discuss these policies furter.
